Helmut is fed up traveling around he world. Coming back from Asia, he decides to stay some time in Alexandra’s house, a long time friend. She is living on a beautiful island where she is doing art. From his travels, Helmut brought back some old manuscript about secret rites that he decides to share with Alexandra after restarting a sexual relationship with her.
The film features four women of different ages, each representing the four elements of nature (air, water, earth and fire). For these roles, very beautiful actresses were needed, willing to appear completely naked. Director Tana Kaleya said the most difficult choice was the one for the role of the teenage girl. “I looked everywhere, auditioned a hundred young girls. None had the necessary mix of purity and sensuality. Finally, Helmut Berger remembered a young actress to whom he had given his first kiss in a previous film.” It was fifteen-year-old Eva Cobo.
